AUSTRALIA (AUD): CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (QOQ)

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures the change in the price of goods and services from the perspective of the consumer. It is a key way to measure changes in purchasing trends and inflation. The last number was 1.9%, better than the forecast of 1.6%.

The report is due Wednesday, 26 April at 01:30 GMT

USA (USD): GDP (QoQ)

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measures the annualized change in the inflation-adjusted value of all goods and services produced by the economy. It is the broadest measure of economic activity and the primary indicator of the economy’s health. The last GDP was 2.6%, less than the forecast of 2.7%.

JAPAN (JPY): BANK OF JAPAN QUARTERLY OUTLOOK

Bank of Japan Outlook Report provides insight into the BoJ’s view of economic conditions and inflation – key factors which shape the future of monetary policy.

NASDAQ – The Nasdaq tech index rose 0.11% on Friday as stocks finished the week on a low. The index is trading at 12,072.46.

META INC. (NASDAQ: META) –  Meta Inc. was down 0.08% on Friday. The stock made a daily high and low of $213.41 and $209.76, respectively. Meta is trading at $212.89 per share.

TESLA INC. (NASDAQ: TSLA) –  Tesla gained 1.28% on Friday. The stock is trading at $165.08. The stock made a high and low of 166.00 and 161.33, respectively.

XAUUSD – Gold was down 1.24% on Friday. The commodity is trading at 1,994.10. Gold touched the $2,000 mark in March and continued its bullish run into April.
